Dr. Martinez graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1995 and has spent the majority of her career her at Lakeside, joining the hospital medical staff in 2001. She enjoys feline and canine internal medicine, and is a well-loved vet at Lakeside. Dr. Martinez loves the staff and her clients. Many, she has seen for years and watched their furry family members grow. She also enjoys developing new client and pet relationships.
Dr. Martinez and her family stay busy in spring, summer, and fall going to Milwaukee’s many festivals, the Brewers games, exploring downtown and the lakefront – “there is so much here.” She and her husband, Chris, have two daughters, Madi and Rosa “they rock.” Driving them to school, to and from sporting events and camping during the summer means a highly active schedule for the family. Also sharing their home are three awesome cats Daisy, Enrique and Madame Butterfly, who came into Lakeside in 2010 as four week old kittens that were headed to the humane society. Not one to stand back and let that happen, she brought them home instead – one of her happiest days.
