Dr. Rebecca Dallwig
Dr. Dallwig graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2008 and joined the Lakeside staff in 2016. She brings a wide range of experience from emergency work to exotic animal involvement. Her medical interests lie in the exotic field and she gladly welcomes all your reptiles, small mammals and birds. She also see cats and dogs. Additionally she has an interest in ultrasound. Dr. Dallwig welcomes the diversity of cases found at Lakeside, as well as the great support staff and overall sense of camaraderie.
When not working Dr. Dallwig keeps very busy – she loves to scuba dive, hike, snowshoe, travel – pretty much anything outdoors and adventurous. Like many of us, she loves the close proximity to Lake Michigan and the numerous state parks Wisconsin has to offer. She lives with three cats – Magnum, Jackson and Mya (the diva!) and a bearded dragon named Oscar.

If you could have one superpower what would you choose? Only one? I would like the ability to speak/understand all languages, communication with animals and it would be really nice to eat whatever I want without calories!!!
Favorite quote: Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” – Hunter Thompson
When playing rock, paper, scissors which one is your go to? Depends on my mood.
