Penn is Lakeside’s Hospital Manager. She joined the team in 1998, and earned her MBA from Alverno College in 2008. Penn enjoys the camaraderie, the laughter, the compassion, and the pride of the staff. She likes being able to make a difference in people’s lives. “We see families excited about their new puppy or kitten, and we also see families with their elderly dog or cat at the end of life. It’s such a privilege to be with people throughout the lives of their companion animals.
Penn was born and raised in Green Bay, and lived in Madison before coming to Milwaukee. She loves the diversity here, the lake, the craft breweries, and the festivals, especially Irish Fest. Penn spends quite a bit of her free time volunteering for non-profit organizations in the Milwaukee community. She also enjoys biking, birding, and front-yard gardening with her wife, Peg. They have two adult sons, Tommy and Marc, and two geriatric cats, Simon and Garfunkel.
